If this shipment shows evidence of loss or damage at time of delivery to you, insist that the carriers agent make a notation of this loss or damage on the delivery receipt.You should supply the models、product sequences、operation pressure and the trouble case when you ask for the after service. Please refer to the Parameters of the dryer in the control panel if needed.1.3 Safety instructionsWhen using this equipment and its auxiliary equipments, please follow the basic safety instructions and pay attention to the following contents:1.3.1 Read-through all the instructions 1.3.2 Electrical Wiring and breaker: electrical wire, breaker and other electrical components must meet the national and domestic standard. If the equipment was broken , please do not operate it in any condition. Pay attention to the popedom of adjustment and fixation. WarningThe national standards and regional government standards should be met when the equipments are installed and operated.1.3.3 Use proper components auxiliary equipments: please dont use the components auxiliary equipments that can not endure the max system pressure in the Compressed Air System.1.3.4 Release the air pressure slowly: the fast-moving compressed air will cause harmful dust and debris, so the system buck process should be slowly to avoid the harmful result to the human body.1.3.5 Stable drainage system: the drainage pipe which connects with pre-positive filter or separator should be fixed on the earth or sewer stably, otherwise, the high pressure air that passes periodically will shake the drainage pipe intensely and hurt the people.Warninga. The compressed air is suitable for the industrial equipment instead of the human breathing.b. In order to supply the breathing air, the compressed air system should supply level D air.1.4 AttentionIn order to avoid oil and dirty water being brought to the desiccant, in front of the dryer should be installed with automatic sewage valve degreasing filters. The dryer installed after dust filters, to prevent dust entering desiccant already good air pipe network.2 Adsorption desiccant dryer loading and replacement stepsDesiccant air dryer with the air treatment volume from 5SCFM to 500SCFM uses alumina with the diameter of 3.2mm. If the treatment volume is above 500SCFM(14m3/min), the air dryer should use alumina with the diameter of 6.35mm in order to benefit the air flow distribution when the compressed air passes the tower.2.1 Loading steps2.1.1 Confirm the dryer have been de-pressurized.2.1.2 Replace the fill plug using Teflon tape or another pipe2.1.3 Confirm that every tower is empty using flashlight.2.1.4 Confirm desiccant outfalls closed tightly.2.1.5 Fill the tower with desiccant, big particle diameter desiccant should be filled first if has.AttentionThe desiccant that is filled correctly may or not reach the top of the tower.2.2 Discharge steps2.2.1 Confirm the dryer has been de-pressurized. 2.2.2 Remove the discharge gate to discharge the desiccant to barrels and then dumped into the pocket or suitable containers.2.3 Treatment of the desiccantThe desiccant is not considered to be a dangerous waste, unless it contains oil or toxic substances. The desiccant should be handled on the local waste management departments.3 Installation of the dryer3.1 Dryer will be installed indoors or outdoors under a roof on a horizontal basis. 3.2 Install a inlet and outlet of cut-off valve and a bypass valve in order to repair and start.3.3 Connect the power with air dryer by using a suitable circuit breaker.Renewable exhaust can be draw away from the dryer by a pipe, ensure the proper size of the pipe. To reduce back pressure diameter increased for one level every 3m of the length of the tube.3.5 Power connection : According to the given requirements for electrical wiring connections, all components should follow the circuit connecting norms and national standards or to meet NEC, NEMA, UL and CSA standards.3.6 Electrical connections may loose during the transportation, please use the screwdriver turn them tightly.3.7 Reservation: If the equipment will be reserved for a while before installation, please follow the following simple steps:3.7.1 Seal or wrap all the components3.7.2 Wrap the electrical boxer. 3.7.3 Wrap the silencer.3.7.4 If the desiccant hasnt been filled in the drying tower because of the transportation, it should be placed indoors or resistant to preserve water erosion.3.8 Leak checking: Used dryer have passed all the leak detection tests in the factory although air leakage might happen during transport or installation process. Upon installation and before trial run the system should be pressurized and the possible leakage should be checked.4 Operation and Maintenance4.1 Start-up4.1.1 Put the on/off switch on the “off” 4state.4.1.2 Turn off the out-cut valve ,and pressurize the two drying tower to the pipe net pressure gradually.4.1.3 Check if there are leakages while the renewable exhaust valve is on the “off” state.4.1.4 Put the on/off switch on the “on” state.4.1.5 Renewable exhaust valve open automate, and one of the two drying towers begin to de-pressurize. 4.1.6 After the drying towers work for one or two cycle, open the out valve.4.2 Adjustment and setting4.2.1 Accommodate the control pressure to the recommended values, similarly on 0.45MPa.4.2.2 If equipped with a hygrometer, slightly open the cut-off valve of the hygrometer probe, so little air flows through the dew-point probe.4.3 Operational Check Points4.3.1 The pressure of the drying tower should be the same as the pipe which is shown in the manometer on the tower.4.3.2 The pressure in the renewable tower should be less than 0.022MPa. (Any higher back pressure reflects that the work pressure of the system is unmoral; please refer to the “troubleshooting instruction”)4.3.3 Standard working cycle is 10 minutes, 5 minutes of which in the drying tower and after another 4 minutes in the renewable tower the renewable exhaust valve will shut in order to pressurize for 1 minutes to the pipe net pressure, then repeat the whole cycle. 4.3.4 Please note that the control air line should be kept in a reasonable pressure, or the valve will not switch automatically. The lowest pressure of the control air line is 0.5MPa.4.4 Maintenance Warning: Please cut off the power and de-pressurize the equipment before the maintenance.4.4.1 In the first month, clean or replace the filter of the control air line, and also after regular replacement. Clean the exhaust muffler, if the recycling back pressure greater than or equals to 0.035MPa, replace the muffler.4.4.2 Shut off the control adjust valve for a short time and check if there are leakages in the inlets pneumatic valve or unilateralism renewable valve every 3 month. If there is air comes from the exhaust muffler, it reflects there are leakages somewhere.4.4.3 The Dryer needs no lubricant.Every day:4.4.4 Check the automatically drain valve of the front filter before every day work.Every week:4.4.5 Check the tower, renew and pressurization and make sure they work normal.4.4.6 Check the working condition, inlet pressure, inlet temperature and air flow.4.4.7 Check moisture indicator (if matching), blue means dry while pink means humid; please refer to "Troubleshooting instruction".4.4.8 Check whether renewable Muffler is dirty and blocked, if the pressure of renewable tower is too much higher, then the muffler should be replaced.4.4.9 Check the pressure drop of both front and back filter, if the pressure drop exceed 0.05MPa,then replace the filter.Every month:4.4.10 Check the filer of the control air line, replace it if needed.Every 3 months:4.4.11 Check the blocks and possible damage of the front and back filter, and change if needed.4.4.12 Clean the safety valve with compressed air.4.4.13 Check the dew point output state.Every 12 months:4.4.14 Turn off the in/out valve or dryer bypass, and release the pressure of the dryer thoroughly. Open the desiccant filling mouth, take desiccant sampling inspection, if desiccant polluted by oil or crushed, then replace the desiccant.4.4.15 Disassemble and check the outlets one-way valve. Repair or replace if needed.4.4.16 Disassemble and check the in mouth pneumatic valves and renewable exhaust valve, clean and replace the valve seat and wear ring.4.4.18 Check whether the pneumatic valve cylinder leaks or whether seal parts wear.4.4.18 Check the up-pressure valve and repair or replace if needed.4.4.19 Check and repair the Solenoid Valve of the air control line.4.4.20 Correct dew point probe. (If equipped with a hygrometer)4.4.21 Check if the muffler is blocked by oil or dust, replacement is needed if the back pressure exceeds 0.035MPa.4.5 Shut downDe-pressurize the dryer by allowing the controller to run through tower change cycles until pressure gauges on both towers read zero. Then turn the on / off switch to the "off" position.4.6 Working principlesStandardized non-thermal renewable dryer is designed and produced on reliance with the regulation of 12 minutes cycle of NEMADrying for 6 minutes, then renew for 5minutes and 20s, up-pressurize for 30s, the de-pressurize for 10s.When the drying tower and pipeline with the same pressure of 5 minutes, another column of desiccant during regeneration, regeneration tower to the pressure on 0MPa.Attention: Dew point can be achieved, depending on the quality of renewable desiccant.Through the adjustment of the renewable flow control valve and renewable manometer, about 14% of the outlet dry air is used to regenerate desiccant. Dry air flows into the tower and expand, with the pressure suddenly drops to atmospheric pressure, water-contained desiccant can be renewed.
