Based on the parameter identification theory of the joins, the modal experiment of the bolted assembly is operated by the LMS hardware and software, including the modal experimental equipment SCADAS and the LMS test?. lab. The joint parameters are identified by the FEM optimization. The results show that this method can solve the problem of obtaining the joint parameters in virtual prototyping modeling and boost the CAE application in the machine tools.?
