Common Name : fenoxaprop 1.1 The word “fenoxaprop” (pronounced fe-häk-sa- ,präp) has been accepted as the American National Standard Common Name for the chemical ( ? ) - 2 - 4- (6-chloro-2-benzoxazolyl)oxy phenoxy propanoic acid. 1.2 Acceptance signifies compliance with American National Standard Common Name for a Pest Control Chemical - Procedure for Acceptance, ANSI/ASC K62.1-1985. 2. Use of Common Name 2.1 The common name applies o the 100% pure chemical. 2.2 Technical grades and formulations shall indicate the percentage of fenoxaprop present; for example, fenoxaprop - 86% to 89%, equivalent to 93% to 97% fenoxaprop ethyl ester.
