I wish we had gone rock climbing last weekend.(= I regret we didnt go back climbing last weekend). should · we use should (nt)+ infinitive without to to suggest changes in the present. The class should be smaller. · we use shouldn t +perfect infinitive to express regrets about the past. I shouldnt have gone to that school. Do the exercise 3, 5, 6 and 7 The purpose is to consolidate the grammar so give student enough time to do the exercise and check answers by having students read the sentences one by one to find the mistakes made by them.
