Teaching Time 【课时】 Five periods Period 1 Section A(1a2d) Period 2 Section A(3a4c) Period 3 Section B(1a1d) Period 4 Section B(2a2e) Period 5 Section B(3a3b) & Self Check 本单元围绕谈论喜欢的音乐,自然地呈现本单元的重点语言结构 定语从句。Section A 要求学生掌握与音乐和电影相关词汇,能够通过听和读获取有关音乐和电影的相关信息,了 解以 that,which,who 引导的定语从句在不同语境中的功能和作用,并能用英语表达自己喜 欢的音乐和电影。同时这部分还复习学生已经学过的有关音乐和电影方面的词汇以及表示喜 好或描述性词汇。Section A 的教学重点是学会that,which ,who 引导的定语从句结构,并用 来完整地表达自己对音乐和电影的喜好。这部分的难点是让学生理解定语从句与先行词之间 的修饰关系。Section B 在 Section A 的基础上进一步拓展话题,让学生能够运用所学结构谈 论其他喜好,阅读部分还涉及到中国的民间音乐及音乐家,也增添了与音乐相关的词汇和表 达句式。 这部分的重点是运用noting supporting details 的阅读策略对文本进行解读,了解音乐 评价类文章的特点。这部分的难点是运用具体信息描写事物。 The First Period Section A(1a2d) Teaching Important Points【教学重点】 Key words & phrases : prefer,Australian ,electronic,suppose,smooth,spare,director,case sing along with ,dance to music, in that case,preferto Key sentences: 1.What kind of music do you like? S1:I like 3Collect some words about music ,such as quiet,loud,slow,serious,sad ,pop,folk , rap Step 2Cooperative inquiry【合作探究】 1Finish the task in 1a Ask:What kind of music do you like? Why do you like it? Then the teacher teaches the sentences according to the students' answers ,like this : So you like music that can make you relax. Write the sentences on the blackboard. Look at the picture and read these sentences in the picture of 1a.Help students to learn the structure:I like/prefer/love music that Learn the phrases: have great lyrics,sing along with , dance to the music Read aloud the sentences.Help students to say out their own sentences.Ask some students. 2Finish the task in 1b Read the instructions. Play the recording for the first time and ask students to complete the chart. Quickly read the passage about movies and underline the different kinds of movies and circle the names. Check and help students to learn the new items that may stop them from understanding. 2Finish the task in 3b 3Finish the task in 3c Get the students to scan the demands in 3c and fill in the chart on their own.
