Section A 本单元以 Food Festival 为主题。学习包括订餐、接单、用餐等日常功能用 语以及对比事物的表达法,同时学习副词的比较级和最高级。 本节课共分为两模块, Section A(1) 食品节开幕式,和Section A(2)就 餐,由于这两部分内容涉及的情景和表达方式不一样,所以分两部分进行讲解。 Section A (1) 【知识目标】 本节课的课型为听说课, 主要活动是对美食节开幕式主持词的学习和掌握。复习 宾语从句的用法。 【能力目标】 1.能听懂有关开幕的对话。 2.学习如何致开幕词。 教学目标 教材分析 教学目标 3.能识别主题,并获取主要信息。 4.能在教师的指导下,参与有关开幕的角色表演。 【情感目标】 1.了解西方的饮食文化。 2.通过本课的阅读,培养学生在学习中善于利用图画等非语言信息理解主题,在 接近真实情境中运用语言, 培养学生乐于参与各种英语实践活动和学习英语的愿 望和兴趣,在生活中乐于探究英语知识的含义并尝试模仿的英语。 【教学重点】 1、词汇: lady, gentleman , satisfy, guest, kind-hearted 2、句型: 1.Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to 2.Thanks for coming. 3.I hope everyone has a wonderful time! 4.Enjoy yourselves! 【教学难点】 进行有关开幕式的角色扮演。 Multimedia,pictures, group work, cooperative discussion. 教学重难点 课前准备 教学过程 Step1. Warm up 1.Play a part of the video of Beijing Olympic opening ceremony. 2. New words and phrases. Step 2 Presentation 1. 1a Show the poster of the food festival and encourage the students to ask and answer with the object clauses as much as possible. Show the picture of 1a. Teach the new words. Talk about what the hosts will say in the opening ceremony. 2. 1b Ask the students to read the form in 1b and predict the answers. . Play the tape recording of 1a. Play the tape recording of 1a again and fill in the blanks in 1b. Finally, check the answers. 3. 1c Show some pictures.Choose one situation and act as hosts in pairs. Step 3 Practice Ask the students to act as hosts according to the following situations. Step 4 Consolidation Play the tape recording of 1a.Let students follow the tape and read 1a aloud and pay attention to the emotion and intonation. Ask the students to change 1a into a short passage with the help of 1b.
